Kristian Kielmayer, Dip WSET, Weinakademiker, wine and spirit consultant based in Budapest, Hungary.
Kristian graduated with a bachelor's degree in economics and is a certified winemaker. He is a long-standing member of the Hungarian Wine Expert Commission as well as an expert in geographic indications. Several new Hungarian GI have been developed under his supervision. Co-author of various publications on Hungarian wines, such as Wines of Hungary Terroirs and Varieties and Tokaj-Hegyalja.
Kristian is a colourful and passionate communicator and educator. He is also a lecturer at the Weinakademie.
Kristian is delighted to present one of his favourite wine regions in the world, namely Tokaj. Overseeing some projects in the region, from very old vintage wines to keeping a close touch with the people and the land, he appreciates the beauty and complexity of Tokaj.
